Weâ€™ve all heard it said that sometimes the only therapy we need is our friends? We couldnâ€™t agree more! Our friends increase our sense of belonging and purpose, boost our happiness and reduce our stress levels.
Sisterhood, tribe, girlfriends, friendships, girl power, girl squad, whatever you like to call your gaggle of gals, it all boils down to the same thing â€“ connection, trust, strength, solidarity and love. Without our girlfriends, where would we be?
Studies have shown that female friendship has a greater impact on our physical and psychological well-being than that of any other relationship, confirming that friends help us live better and longer!

In todayâ€™s modern world, even with so much online presence and interaction, we are at risk of becoming more isolated than ever. Social media, technology, texting, fast paced livesâ€¦ all lead to a sense of loneliness and FOMO (fear of missing out) because we no longer make the time to really connect with people, face to face, on a talkative level!
Every now and again (we recommend at least once a month) we simply need to make time to not only think about our friends, but to meet with them, talk with them, share with them. Whatever it takes, stop and live in the moment – it may not always be there – and celebrate that moment, for no reason other than friendship.
